Many runners have surprised the socks careers after realizing that one or more of your toenails turn black and blue. Often bruised nails may seem worse than they are, but there is actually a simple explanation for this condition.
If a rider does not wear shoes that fit, then slip your feet in your shoes. This can occur if very large running shoes because the foot to slide the shoe and banging against the front edge. This can also happen if the shoes are too small, because the fingers are starting to jam against the front of the shoe. This is why it is so important to get shoes that fit well to prevent the front of the fingers hitting the front of the unit of the shoe.
If the nail becomes black and blue from banging your toes against the front during the race do not panic. The color change is in the capillaries under the nails and break the formation of micro lesions. If you notice this discoloration in the best way to get rid of this is to stop running in the same shoes that caused the condition.
Most of the time does not cause discoloration lot of discomfort, however, the nail can become infected if not kept clean so be sure to clean around the nail to prevent infection from occurring. Sometimes, if there is blood under the pressure of the nails can be built which will cause discomfort. If the nail starts to hurt, then you must go to an evaluation by a podiatrist. Pain mean either an infection or high blood pressure under the nail, which can be easily treated by a podiatrist.
A ground cloves does not automatically mean you lose the nail. If heavy bleeding under the nail and a podiatrist to relieve the pressure quickly, the nail can reattach to the nail bed. Otherwise, trauma, prolonged pressure can cause the nail to separate and a new nail beginning to form and grow. If this happens, the nail home, damaged, simply fall back when the nail grew. As the nail is clear, without pain or bleeding, no need to worry.
Cloves are a common sign of running shoes that do not fit properly. If this happens, you should get new shoes size. Your best bet is to visit a specialty shop run, which has trained staff to properly assess your needs to recommend the right shoes for you and make sure it is securely attached. If you have pain in the toenail hurt, be sure to enter to visit his podiatrist.
